Butxaca (pronounced boo-ja-ka) literally means pocket in the language of Valencia, and Butxaca aim to play music that grooves ‘in the pocket’. Expect an eclectic mix of Jazz and Latin in new arrangements for three frontline horns, including the saxophones of Beccy Rork and Andy Pickett and the trumpet & flugelhorn of Jane Stimpson. Steve Morgan on piano, John Bedford on bass and Phil Naylor on drums complete the line-up for your Summer evening entertainment.
